Fairfield
Electric is known for its reliable service and has always placed great
emphasis on providing safe, dependable power. But electric lines are
inevitably vulnerable to storms, lightning and accidents. FEC strives to
provide customers with every possible safeguard against outages and
other problems and that's what our Total Power Quality family of
programs is all about.
Total
Power Quality is actually several programs. One of these programs - Surge
Guard, -- has its own link in the drop-down menu. Other Total Power
Quality programs are:
Power Checks: FEC conducts ground checks, voltage checks
for members to help test the quality, safety and reliability of
their electrical systems. Ground checks and voltage checks,
performed by FEC professionals, provide assurance that systems are
properly grounded and that voltage levels are correct. Call FEC if
you suspect a problem related to your power supply.
Life Support Systems: For FEC members who rely on
electrical life support systems, the cooperative will place their
home on a medical priority list for re-establishing power after an
outage occurs. To qualify, members must submit a doctor's
verification of the need for priority service.
Energy Audits: The cooperative will conduct Energy Audits
to help members identify ways to improve the energy efficiency of
their homes.
