Community Involvement
Operation RoundUp has assisted over 100 burned out families and over 50 needy families. In addition, donations to two community libraries and a satellite volunter fire department have benefited all citizens in their area. Local rescue squads, fire departments and law enforcement have also been aided.
Neighbors and friends
Fairfield Electric Cooperative is proud to sponsor Red Ribbon Day for drug-free schools. Through exciting speakers and events, we encourage our young people to say no to drugs and yes to learning.
All working together
Through the GOFER program (Give Oil For Energy Recovery), FEC coordinates the collection of used motor oil. Throughout our service territory people safely dispose of their used motor oil, which is later burned by Santee Cooper to produce electricity.
Please join Fairfield Electric Cooperative in our community activities. Call 635-4621 for more information, or write to FEC at P.O. Box 2500, Blythewood, SC 29016.
