We
offer many educational and training programs to schools, churches
or civic organizations. These programs help educate people on energy,
safety issues, employment counseling and cooperative education.
As a
partner with our schools and community, we do more than just bring light
to the darkness. We also participate in programs that enlighten minds.
Each
year, we participate in Drug Awareness Program activities like "Red
Ribbon Week," sponsoring exciting guest speakers who make
students aware of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.
We
also have an extensive reference library that includes videos,
films, and slide shows on safety, energy, co-op education and health
topics. And we make these safety resources available for free to school
teachers and community organizations.
Fairfield
believes in being a catalyst for improvement. One way we do this is
through our support of education ... primary, secondary and continuing.
We make educational materials available to interested parties on a
variety of utility industry-related topics.
